DOH reports 891 new cases as 11 laboratories fail to report on time
MANILA – The Department of Health (DOH) today reported 891 new COVID-19 cases as 8,316 were reported to have recovered while four others died.
From the total cases, there are 4.2% active cases or 20,292, while 93.8% 04 448,258 recovered as 1.94% or 9,257 died.
There were no duplicates removed from the figures.
However, 11 laboratories failed to submit their reports to the COVID-19 Data Repository System (CDRS) yesterday.
In their statement released at 4:00 P.M. today, the DOH said they noted a decreased in the number of new cases.
However, the DOH reminds the general public to be cautious in interpreting the figures as an increase in cases in the near future is possible. (Melo M. Acuña)
