Toyota Motor Philippines launches Wigo

MANILA – Toyota Motor Philippines President Atsuhiro Okamoto led his staff in the official launch of their latest Wigo.

In his remarks, Mr. Okamoto said despite the difficulties, Toyota Motor Philippines, Toyota Motor Philippines Foundation, their dealer network extended the needed assistance through their different corporate social responsibility projects for the health workers, front liners and communities where their manufacturing plants and dealerships are located.

He said he is proud of their Team Toyota’s Bayanihan spirit as they also extended assistance to their customers to help them come with their difficulties.

He said another milestone was achieved yesterday when they launched their New Toyota Wigo. This was launched in an inter-active setting where thousands witnessed the unveiling rites.

“As it appeals to a broad spectrum of customers, the Toyota Wigo enjoys a market share of 69% in the low-cost passenger car segment as of the end of 2019. It has been the car of choice for young professionals, young couples just starting a family, and even university students,” Mr. Okamoto said.

He described the latest Wigo as more advanced, more convenient, safe, and more fun with its sleek and sporty TRD styling.

It comes in white, silver, red, gray, yellow and black. (Melo M. Acuña)
