Metro Manila and Davao City still under GCQ; Davao del Norte placed under GCQ
MANILA – President Rodrigo Duterte placed Davao del Norte under General Community Quarantine.
In his remarks on national television early this evening, he said Metro Manila and Davao City will remain under GCQ until December 31.
Davao City was placed under GCQ status according to IATF Resolution No. 84, signed last November 19,2020.
Presidential Spokesperson Secretary Harry Roque said also retained under GCQ are Batangas, Iloilo City, Tacloban City, Lanao del Sur and Iligan City.
The rest of the country have been placed under Modified General Community Quarantine or MGCQ.
Secretary Roque said the risk-level classifications will be effective tomorrow, December 1 and will last until December 31,2020.
During his Talk to the Nation, he also paid tribute to the frontline workers, healthcare workers and uniformed personnel as the country commemorated Gat Andres Bonifacio’s 157th birth anniversary. (Melo M. Acuña)
