Afghanistan-based Filipinos arrive in Manila
MANILA – The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) today reported the arrival at Ninoy Aquino International Airport of 35 Filipino nationals based in Afghanistan.
The DFA said they were evacuated by their respective companies from Kabul to Doha, Qatar where they joined the DFA chartered plane for Manila.
The DFA said most of the Filipinos in Afghanistan are professionals working with different international companies in the country.
No names of the repatriated Filipinos from Afghanistan were released by the Department of Foreign Affairs. (Melo M. Acuña)
