Two million doses of COVID-19 vaccines due this month


MANILA – Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque early this evening said some members of the Cabinet met and discussed the matters about the COVID-19 situation in the Philippines.


He said the government has been addressing the issue of hazard pay for health workers.


During the same meeting, Secretary Roque said 1.5 million doses of Sinovac vaccines and 500,000 doses of Gamaleya vaccines will arrive this month as 922,898 vaccines have already been given to frontline health workers and other priority persons.


The application of Debit Credit Payment Method (DCPM) of Health Care Facilities across the country, said to be worth P9.7 billion will still be subject the Board assessment for NCR plus affected areas.


“The IATF will meet again on Saturday, April 10,2021 to discuss the quarantine qualification of the National Capital Region,” he further said. (Melo M. Acuña)
